Outputs
The main publication outcome of the project is an edited volume forthcoming with Bloomsbury (2027), co-edited by the Principal Investigator (Simona Gallo) and Giacomo Zanolin.
European Geographies in Contemporary Sinophone Literatures: Locations, Dislocations, Relocations brings together contributions from leading international scholars and represents the most comprehensive synthesis of the project’s theoretical and methodological developments.
The book focuses on the geo-literary construction of Europe in contemporary Sinophone writing and is structured around key conceptual axes such as location, dislocation, and relocation.
It includes both theoretical contributions and case studies, reflecting the interdisciplinary approach of the project and the integration of literary and spatial methodologies.
The volume is the direct result of the research activities and of the international workshops organized within the project, which provided a platform for discussion, exchange, and refinement of the contributions.
Further publication outputs are currently in progress. These include:
an open access edited volume (Zanolin & Tanca, 2026) on geo-literary approaches to landscape, published by Genoa University Press;
